A reliable investment

Reasons? Land title study

The area has had very few changes in ownership.

As accredited by the Coquimbo Real Estate Registry (Conservador de Bienes Raíces Coquimbo):

“Regarding the property registered on page 17,580, No. 8,521, in the Property Registry in my charge corresponding to the year 2,017,

  1. consisting in the Lot Fifty-one,
  2. resulting from the  subdivision of Lot  Thirty-one  dash “R” ,
  3. and this in turn, resulting from the subdivision of Lot Thirty-one “A One”,
  4. of the subdivision of Fundo Guanaqueros or Tongoycillo, Guanaqueros Sector; of the commune of Coquimbo”.

Which, translated into common language, describes the following situation:

  1. In the center of the Coquimbo Region there is an ranch of enormous extensions. It is still in operation with the central facilities in the south of Tongoy. Its name is Hacienda El Tangue. The beginnings of El Tangue date back to pre-Hispanic times, being known as a Diaguita settlement with the same name. With the passing of times, from the beginning of the century until 1921, the land became the property of the “Compañía Agrícola Coquimbo” and included the areas of Guanaqueros, Lagunillas and part of Tongoy.
  2. In 1940, a “small part” of this estate was separated, leaving the “Fundo Guanaqueros y Tongoycillo” as a separate entity. The Guanaqueros seaside village is located in this area.

  3. Later on,  the Fundo Guanaqueros and Tongoycillo was subdivided into different lots. Among these is Lot 31 “A1”.
  4. In 2003, this Lot 31 “A1”, was in turn, subdivided into several lots. Among this is Lot 31-R.
  5. Withing this Lot 31-R is our plot identified as “Lot 51“.

Lot 51 was acquired by us as part of an auction. Banco de Chile originally financed the purchase of the lot and initiated its auction via Remates Macal, because its then owner (a priest whose superiors had sent him to carry out a mission in Brazil), had left the property without continuing to pay the monthly installments. Conclusion: Banco de Chile has already made a study of the ownership of the property.
